claiming a territory
Claiming a territory is certainly the cheapest way to go about creating a group. If you want to claim a territory for the group, all you have to do is create an IC post with your character walking through the territory and marking its borders. If after one whole week it receives no replies by anyone, this means you successfully own the territory and can use it to create your new group. It is suggested that the member who fills out the pack form also makes the territory claim, but it is not required. Anyone who will be in the new group at the start can make the territory claim. After making a territory claim you can always purchase a territory pack from the site shop as well for your group and vice versa. If you claim more than one territory for the same group, the territories must all fall under the same land.
In wars or disputes territories can be claimed from other groups as well as long as group leaders are both consensual on this agreement. Also, territory claiming of other groups still follow the same rules. Anyone can make a claim on any territory, and follow the one week rule.
buying a territory pack
A territory pack is a bit hefty. It costs 150 biscuits, but gives you the ability to create three territories right off the bat. These will be individual territories, named and described by you. You simply describe them once you fill out the pack form and your group will be created with the territories immediately available to you.
There is no limit to how many territory packs or territory claims you can make for a group.
